Our Promise

Our Promise

Four things we'll never do.

Before we sell you anything, here's what we're committing to. Publicly, permanently, and at our own cost.

Skincare has a truth problem.

Everything promises a new face. Results in a week. Thousands of five-star reviews you're not entirely sure anyone wrote.

You've bought some of it. You've been disappointed by most of it.

We started ZUVIE because we were tired of it too.

One

We will never invent a review.

Not one. Not a "seeded" review from a friend. Not an incentivised review from someone who got the bottle free. Not a bought review from a farm in a country neither of us has been to.

When our review section is empty, it stays empty. When it fills, every word in it was written by someone who paid for the bottle.

And the bad ones stay up.
Two

We will never promise you a new face.

Serums don't do that. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a story, and they know it.

What good skincare can do is smaller and quieter: skin that looks a little fresher. A little more rested. The kind of change you notice in a photograph three weeks later, not in the mirror tomorrow.

We'd rather undersell it and surprise you than oversell it and lose you.
Three

We will never hide what's in the bottle.

Every ingredient, listed. Every one explained in plain English — including the ones the marketing would rather you didn't look at too closely.

If an ingredient is in there in a small amount, we'll say so. If the ingredient everyone's excited about is doing less work than the ones nobody talks about, we'll tell you that too.

Read it yourself. We'd rather you did.
Four

We will tell you what it can't do — before you buy it.

Every product page we ever publish will carry a section listing what the product won't deliver. Not buried in the FAQ. Not in the small print. On the page, where you'll see it before you decide.

It costs us sales. We know roughly how many. We keep it anyway.
And one thing we'll always do

If it isn't for you, we'll take it back.

Sixty days. Bottle open or not. No forms, no questions, no interrogation.

We'd rather have your trust than your money.

Skincare for how you feel.
Not how you're told to look.
