We can't tell you
it won't sting.
Fragrance-free does not mean reaction-free. Here is the formula, what to check, and how the first-order guarantee works.
When a serum goes wrong, the problem isn't always that it does too little. It can sting, or break you out, and you find that out slowly.
Whether it stings or breaks you out is not printed on the box. You only find out on your own face, a few weeks in.
You are told, correctly, that skincare takes weeks. So you give it weeks. And a return window can close while you are still finding out, so what decides whether you get your money back is not your skin. It's a calendar you weren't watching.
There is a word for what I'm supposed to write next. The word is "gentle." I'm not going to write it.
Fragrance-free is a fact.
Gentle is a claim.
Most brands print them in one line on purpose.
The words I'm not going to use
All four are legal. None of them is earned.
Your skin is your own, and the serum is new, so there are no reviews yet.
The serum is new, so no tester, panel or customer has used it yet. There are preservatives in it. They're what stop it spoiling, and preservatives are one of the things reactive skin can react to.
That phrase has no legal definition. It never had one.
No test has to be passed before it goes on a box. It is a sentence, printed by the company selling you the bottle, about the bottle it is selling you. When you read it next, notice that it never comes with a number.
No dermatologist has seen this serum.
Even where the phrase is true elsewhere, it tells you a dermatologist was present. It does not tell you what they found, or whether they agreed with the result. Ours would be worth nothing, so it isn't there.
There is no standard behind this one either.
It sits on packaging in the same size type as the ingredients, and it is aimed straight at breakouts and clogged pores. That's exactly why I won't print it on ZUVIE without a test behind it.
What I can tell you
Facts have amounts. Claims don't.
This is what a patch test, or a dermatologist, would actually need.
Every ingredient is listed below with its amount, including both preservatives. It is the kind of list a patch test or a dermatologist would ask for.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 · Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8
Acetyl Heptapeptide-4 · Oligopeptide-1
Heptapeptide-6 · Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
No fragrance. No SPF. No retinol. The preservatives are named above, with their amounts: phenoxyethanol at 0.45% and ethylhexylglycerin at 0.05%.
The fragrance came out on purpose. The manufacturer's original version of this formula contained parfum, and we had ours made without it. The manufacturer confirmed that in writing. That is a fact about the bottle, not a promise about your face.
There are no added colorants. The Sodium DNA comes from salmon. If you have a fish allergy, check with your doctor before use.
Whether that list is a problem for your skin is a question you can answer better than I can, and you can answer it before you spend anything. That is the only useful thing I have.
The honest part
What I'd actually do, if I were you
Take that list to whoever knows your skin, like your dermatologist, your pharmacist or the forum you already read, and ask them before you take my word for anything.
If you've reacted to something before, patch test it. A small amount, somewhere that isn't your face, and wait. That advice may cost me a sale. It's still the right advice.
And if anything on that list is a known problem for you, don't buy it. I would genuinely rather you ruled it out today than found out in week five. If you do buy it and it isn't for you, the 60-day money-back guarantee covers your first order, once per household. Email support@zuvieskin.com within 60 days of delivery with your order number, and we refund the full amount you paid for that order, including shipping. You keep the bottle, even if you have used it.

It isn't free. It just isn't for sale yet.
It will be sold, not given away. There are no free samples and no test bottles. What costs nothing is joining the list: no payment, no card details. An independent safety assessor still has to sign the formula off, and until that's finished there is nothing to sell you. Put your name down and I'll write when it changes, including if it changes for the worse.
Nothing to pay to join the list · Leave the list any time
I'll write when there's something real to say, and not before.
